The President mentioned prior to the book sale that income from sales over the past 2 years had decreased and expenditure for book purchases had increased. He hoped therefore that these would be a good response in tonights bidding. In the absence of Mr Macgregor, Terry Braithwaite conducted the sale doing an excellent job which has raised more money than the last three sales.
